Our football department offers a wide range of equipment and accessories, ranging from footballs and shinpads to team kits and training bibs. We stock many major brands, including Nike and Reebok, and supply full kits to many local clubs. Other accessories in stock include every day essentials such as laces and studs.

As well as equipment we stock a very broad range of souvenirs for all major teams which are superb gift ideas.

Fishing

Fishing is a very important part of Gibsons Sports as we pride ourselves on continuing the independent fishing store ethos, providing quality service with free advice to all our customers.

We cater for beginners with starter sets and smaller rods, as well as the more
experienced angler with specialist rods and a number of bait runners whilst stocking the latest in carp equipment including such names as Steadfast, Maxima and Leeda. We also have a constant range of flies and other fly tackle, including a great selection of rods and reels as well as different weighted lines and fly coatings . Instore we have a selection of sea equipment, with boat rods and beach casters, as well as weights, lures and mackeral feathers.

We keep details of many major clubs in the area, and keep in close contact with the organisers of many club and open matches. We also have a fridge with a fresh supply of bait, including cleaned and boxed maggots, as well as lobs and brandlings, season permitting.

Gibsons Sports is run by anglers, for anglers.

Our extensive cricket range covers all the popular quality brands of equipment, including Kookaburra and Slazenger. Left and right handed batsmen are well catered for with a wide selection of clothing and equipment.

We stock all of the the essential accessories including various types of ball, scoring books and tools for good bat care. We also keep a good selection during the close season and provide a quality service to larger clubs as well as individuals.

Racket Sports

We carry tennis, squash and badminton rackets from all of the leading manufacturers including Head, Dunlop, Wilson, and Slazenger.

We also stock a number of accessories from shock absorbers to racket grips plus tennis balls by Penn and Slazenger, including the superb 'Wimbledon' ball, and a full range of squash balls.

On top of all this we offer a tremendous racket re-stringing service. This is an overnight service and we use the finest strings including Botex and Ashaway. For more information click here.

We stock a vast array of practical footwear, including football boots, running spikes, court trainers and bowls shoes.

We have moulded football boots as well as screw in studdded boots, giving you perfect grip whatever the playing conditions.

As well as our wide range of golf shoe in our footwear department, we stock a quality range of equipment from such manufacturers as Malibu, Slazenger and Wilson.

We also stock an extensive variety of accessories, from practical items like tees, markers and scorecards, to novelty items including mugs and gift sets.
Our golf ball range includes the popular Titelist brand, and such other names as Pinnacle and Dunlop.

Snooker

We stock cues from all of the major companies, including BCE and Riley, as well as many starter cues for the amateur.

As well as cues we have a full range of accessories including chalk, tip domers, tip cement and a complete range of cases.
